Privacy and cookies

In short

LMEX has no accounts and no forms that send data to us. It uses no visitor analytics such as Google Analytics, and the site does not set cookies of its own. We collect very little, and this page describes it as the system actually works on the date this page was updated.

What is kept in your browser

The colour theme button (auto, light, dark) remembers your choice in your browser's local storage under the name lmex-theme. The value stays on your device, is not sent to our server and is not used to identify you. Choosing "auto" removes it. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings. The site works normally if your browser refuses to store it; it just will not remember the theme.

All fonts and files for our pages are served from our own server. We do not load fonts or scripts from outside services to track readers.

Server logs

When you open a page, standard technical details of the connection, such as your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser's identification string, pass through and may be recorded in the access logs of Cloudflare, the service in front of the site, and of our nginx web server. We use these logs for security and for fixing technical problems, not to build profiles of readers. Cloudflare may set technical cookies of its own for security, which are outside our control. How long logs are kept follows the settings of those systems.

Your country and banners

The site has a mechanism for showing ad banners chosen by country. It reads the country code from the CF-IPCountry header that Cloudflare adds to the request, and uses it only to choose a banner while that request is being handled. We do not store the country against any individual, and the banner request is sent without cookies. At present LMEX shows no ads. If that changes, banners will be labelled as ads and their links marked sponsored and nofollow.

Ticket checker and slot demos

The ticket checker on the Thai lottery pages runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent back to our server.

Slot demo pages (in Thai) do not load a game until you press the play button. When you do, your browser loads the demo from the game maker's server (for example Pragmatic Play) inside a separate frame. That company can see your IP address and may set cookies or collect data under its own policy, which we cannot control. If you do not want that, do not press the play button.

Links to other sites

If you click a link to another website, such as an official lottery site, that site's own policy applies. Our outbound links use nofollow and noopener.

Email you send us

If you write to [email protected] we receive your email and whatever you put in it. We use it only to answer you and to check and correct information. We do not sell it or pass it on for marketing. You can ask us to delete an email you sent by writing to the same address.

Search data

The site owner looks at aggregate search statistics from Google Search Console, such as search queries and how often our pages appear in results, to improve content. This is aggregate data from Google, not information about individual visitors collected by our site.

Children

This site is not designed for anyone under 18. Gambling-related content is for adults.

Changes and questions

If the way the site works changes, for example if we start using visitor analytics or showing ads, we will update this page before or at the same time, and change its date. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected]. See also Contact and About us.
