The draw is held every day at 3 PM IST (4:30 PM in Thailand) at Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram. Bumper lotteries are drawn on special dates in place of the regular lottery of that day. The full list of winning numbers is usually out within an hour of the draw; on this site a result appears only after two sources agree, so it can come a little later than the first websites to post it.

How the Kerala lottery prizes work

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes each go to one complete ticket: a two-letter series and a six-digit number, for example KO 447257. The consolation prize goes to every ticket that has the same six digits as the 1st prize in any other series. The 4th to 9th prizes are drawn as four-digit endings: a ticket wins if the last four digits of its number match, in any series.

Where the numbers come from

A draw appears on this site only after two independent websites (kllotteryresult.com and the Malayala Manorama news site onmanorama.com) show the same first-prize ticket, draw name and draw code. A lower prize group is shown only when both websites list exactly the same numbers; if they differ, that group is left out and the page says so. The official sheet from the lottery department is the final word.

Official results are published by the Kerala Department of State Lotteries at statelottery.kerala.gov.in.

Kerala lottery results are for information only. LMEX does not sell tickets, take bets or run any draw. The Kerala State Lotteries are run by the Government of Kerala, and buying a ticket is legal only where state lotteries are permitted, for adults aged 18 and over. The result published by the Kerala Department of State Lotteries always takes precedence over this page. Play responsibly, set a budget you can afford to lose and never chase losses.

What the Kerala State Lottery is

The Kerala State Lottery is a government-run lottery that has operated in the Indian state of Kerala since 1967, the year private lotteries were banned there. It is run by the state's lotteries department, which sits under the Government of Kerala, and the money raised goes into state welfare schemes. Unlike the online number games that sell tickets to anyone, a Kerala lottery ticket is a paper ticket sold in the state by licensed agents. This page does not sell tickets. It publishes the numbers that were drawn, so you can compare them with the ticket in your hand.

The lottery is also one of the most searched results in India. In our keyword data for India, "kerala lottery result" is searched about two million times a month and "kerala lottery result today" close to 1.8 million times, with "kerala lottery result yesterday" and "kerala lottery chart" adding more than a hundred thousand searches each. Most of those people want one thing: the winning ticket of today's draw, quickly and without a pile of adverts around it. That is what the pages on LMEX are for.

How the daily draws work

There is one draw every day, at 3 PM Indian time, at Gorky Bhavan near Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram. That is 4:30 PM in Thailand. Each weekday has its own named lottery with its own series code, so the same weekday always has the same name:

  • Sunday: Samrudhi (SM)
  • Monday: Bhagyathara (BT)
  • Tuesday: Sthree Sakthi (SS)
  • Wednesday: Dhanalekshmi (DL)
  • Thursday: Karunya Plus (KN)
  • Friday: Suvarna Keralam (SK)
  • Saturday: Karunya (KR)

The draw code is the two letters plus a running number, for example KR-775 for the 775th Karunya draw. The code is what links a ticket to a draw, so we put it in the title of every result page next to the date. Older readers may remember names such as Win-Win, Akshaya, Nirmal and Fifty-Fifty, which were weekly names in earlier years and are still listed in the menus of some result sites. In addition to the weekly lotteries there are bumper lotteries a few times a year, linked to festivals such as Onam, Pooja, Vishu and Christmas and New Year. A bumper replaces the regular lottery of its day and has a much larger first prize.

Prize structure of the regular lotteries

Each regular draw has nine groups of prizes. The amounts below are the ones we have read from the published result sheets of the draws on this site, and they are the same for every weekly lottery except where noted.

  • 1st prize: ₹1 crore, one ticket, the same in every series.
  • Consolation prize: ₹5,000, for every ticket that carries the first-prize number in a different series.
  • 2nd prize: ₹30 lakh for most lotteries, ₹25 lakh for Karunya and Samrudhi. One ticket.
  • 3rd prize: ₹5 lakh for most lotteries, ₹10 lakh for Karunya. One ticket.
  • 4th prize: ₹5,000, drawn as 19 four-digit endings.
  • 5th prize: ₹2,000, six endings.
  • 6th prize: ₹1,000, twenty-five endings.
  • 7th prize: ₹500, seventy-six endings.
  • 8th prize: ₹200, around ninety endings.
  • 9th prize: ₹100, well over a hundred endings.

Prize amounts are set by the lotteries department and can change when a new structure is notified, so the figures on each result page, taken from that day's sheet, are the ones to trust. A bumper has its own structure with more groups.

How to read a Kerala lottery result

A full ticket number has a two-letter series and six digits, for example KO 447257. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes are each tied to one complete ticket, so the letters matter as well as the digits. The consolation prize is the opposite: it ignores the series and looks only at the six digits of the first prize, so KN 447257 and KP 447257 would win it while the winner itself is KO 447257.

The 4th to 9th prizes work from the end of the number. The sheet lists four-digit endings, and a ticket wins if the last four digits of its number match one of them, whatever its series. That is why those groups are long lists of short numbers. To check a ticket, find its draw by date and code, read the 1st to 3rd prize tickets first, then look at the last four digits against the lower groups.

How LMEX checks every result

The department publishes the official result on its own website and in the Kerala Government Gazette. When we tried, the department site could not be reached and the older result site had an expired security certificate, so we do not scrape either. Instead a draw is published here only after two independent websites that print the full result as text show the same first-prize ticket, the same draw name and the same draw code. The two we use are a dedicated Kerala result site and the news site Onmanorama.

We go one step further for the lower prizes. A group of numbers is kept only when both websites list exactly the same numbers. If they differ, we leave that group out and the draw page says which one is missing. This does happen: on 7 November 2026, for example, the two sources printed a different number in the 7th prize of Karunya KR-775, so that group was left out of our page until the sources agree. We think a missing group is better than a wrong number on a ticket that could be worth money. The two websites both read the same announcement, so this guards against typing and copying mistakes, not against a wrong announcement. The official sheet is always the final word.

We never publish guessing numbers, predictions or "lucky" numbers. A lottery draw is random, and nobody can know the next result.

Claiming a prize and tax

Winners are expected to check their number against the result published in the Government Gazette and to surrender the winning ticket within 30 days of the draw date. Prize money is taxed: news reports on each draw say that the first prize is subject to a 30 per cent tax deduction. The rules for where you can claim a prize, and which documents you need, depend on the size of the prize, and they change, so read the current notice from the lotteries department before you travel with a ticket. Keep the ticket safe and unfolded, and do not accept offers from people who claim they can collect a prize for you for a fee.

Playing responsibly

Lottery tickets are a form of gambling. Kerala State Lotteries are legal in Kerala and are sold only through licensed agents, and buying a ticket is allowed only where state lotteries are permitted and only for adults, aged 18 and over. LMEX does not sell tickets, take bets or promote any seller. Set a budget before you buy, treat the money as spent, never chase a loss, and stop if it stops being fun. If gambling is causing you harm, talk to someone you trust or contact a local helpline.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check the Kerala lottery result?

Note the date on your ticket and the draw name and code printed on it, such as KR-775. Open the page of that date on LMEX, or use the archive, and compare your series and number with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize tickets. Then compare the last four digits with the 4th to 9th prize endings. Always confirm a possible winner against the official result sheet before you act on it.

What time is the Kerala lottery result today?

The draw is at 3 PM Indian time every day (4:30 PM in Thailand). The full list of numbers is usually out on result sites within the hour. On LMEX a result appears once two sources agree, so it can come a little after the first websites to publish it. If today's draw is not on the hub yet, check again in ten or fifteen minutes.

Where can I see yesterday's Kerala lottery result or the full chart?

Every draw we have published has its own page, and the archive lists them by month with the draw name and first prize. The hub page also links the most recent days. The archive grows as new draws are added, so for older results use the official site, which keeps the Gazette results.

How do I check a Kerala bumper lottery result?

Bumper draws such as the Onam, Pooja, Vishu and Christmas bumpers have a different prize structure from the daily lotteries, with a larger first prize and more groups. Our pages currently cover the regular daily draws, so for a bumper please use the official result sheet from the lotteries department.

Can I guess or predict Kerala lottery numbers?

No. Searches for guessing numbers are common, but the draw is random and no method can tell you which ticket will win. We do not publish predictions, formulas or lucky numbers. Use your time and money carefully, and play only if you can afford to lose what you spend.
