How we verify results

The same rules for every game

Results on LMEX are not typed in by hand. Our software fetches them from source websites and compares them before saving anything. Three rules apply everywhere. First, a result is saved only when the draw is final. Second, a result whose numbers differ between sources is not shown. Third, once a final result is saved, the system never overwrites it with different numbers; a conflict keeps the old value and is logged so a person can look at it.

If a result is incomplete or the sources do not agree yet, it simply does not appear. We prefer to be late and right than early and wrong.

Thai government lottery

Thai government lottery results are read from the Government Lottery Office (GLO, glo.or.th) through the data it publishes. The steps are:

  1. Fetch the latest draw. It is accepted only if it is marked final and complete.
  2. Fetch the same draw again by date and compare it with the first copy. They must match in every prize. GLO sometimes lags on draw afternoon; if the second copy is not there yet, nothing is saved and the system tries again on its next run.
  3. Compare the first prize and the last two digits with an independent website, Sanook (news.sanook.com). If they differ, the draw is not saved or shown.

Limits we want to be open about: the Sanook check covers only the first prize and the two-digit prize. All other prizes come from GLO alone, checked by the double fetch in step 2. Also, if Sanook is unreachable at that moment, the system can still save a result that passed the GLO double fetch, and logs that it did so. Before claiming a prize, always confirm with the GLO announcement.

Lao and Hanoi lotteries

The Lao lottery is read from Kapook (lottery.kapook.com) and Sanook (sanook.com). The Hanoi lottery is read from xskt.com.vn and Minh Ngoc (minhngoc.net.vn). A draw is saved only when both sites have it and their numbers match.

Limit: each pair of sites takes the result from the same broadcast, so the comparison protects against copying and typing errors but is not a confirmation from the organiser.

Lottery Sambad, Kerala and Shillong Teer

Football

Football scores come from one source, the iSports data service (isportsapi.com). Unlike the lotteries, they are not cross-checked against a second source, and we say so plainly. We show ten selected competitions only. Once a match is stored as finished, the system does not overwrite its score with incomplete data. If a score differs from what the competition organiser published, please tell us.

Time zones

Times for the Thai, Lao, Hanoi and football pages are in Thailand time (Asia/Bangkok, UTC+7). Times for Lottery Sambad, Kerala and Shillong Teer are Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30), which is 1 hour 30 minutes behind Thailand. For example, the Kerala draw at 3 PM IST is 4:30 PM in Thailand.

Corrections policy

If you find a number on LMEX that differs from the official announcement, email [email protected] with the link to our page and the link to the official result. We will compare it with the official source and correct it once we confirm the mistake. Because the system never overwrites a saved final result by itself, correcting one is done by a person. When we correct a page we update its date. We promise to review every report we receive; we do not promise a fixed reply time.
